The Genesis Generation Challenge Engaged Teams of Young Adults to Help Solve the World's Most Pressing Challenges
The Genesis Prize Foundation administered a competition for young adult social entrepreneurs in honor of its Inaugural Laureate, Michael R. Bloomberg. Teams of young adults proposed projects, driven by Jewish values, that would measurably benefit the world. Over 100 teams from around the globe submitted project ideas, and a 52-judge Evaluation Panel scored the applications based on four criteria. A five-member Selection Committee chose nine winning teams.
On Tuesday, April 28th, 2015, Michael R. Bloomberg, Michael Douglas, Natan Sharansky, Elie Wiesel, z"l and Stan Polovets announced the winners.
