Natalie Portman, 2018 Genesis Prize Laureate

On November 7, 2017, The Genesis Prize Foundation announced world-renowned actress, director, and social activist Natalie Portman as the 2018 Genesis Prize Laureate.

Ms. Portman was recognized for her commitment to social causes, her deep connection to her Jewish and Israeli roots, and her talent and charisma which have touched the hearts of millions.

The Genesis Prize Foundation directed Ms. Portman’s $1 million award towards women’s empowerment organizations in the United States and Israel.
