NEW YORK — August 17, 2026 — Today, The Genesis Prize Foundation (GPF) announced that Nuseir Yassin, a prominent Israeli Palestinian digital media and AI entrepreneur, known professionally as Nas Daily, has joined the Foundation’s Advisory Board.

Yassin has received international recognition for his digital media content and public messaging focused on bridge-building and coexistence. In 2025, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which hailed him as “a courageous activist” and praised his resolute stand against terrorism and violence following October 7. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) presented Yassin the Daniel Pearl Award in 2024, honoring his “digital storytelling which transcends borders and promotes unity.”

The Genesis Prize, known as “the Jewish Nobel,” honors extraordinary individuals for their professional achievement, contribution to humanity and commitment to Jewish values. Since 2013, the $1 million annual award has leveraged more than $50 million for philanthropic causes, supporting more than 230 programs in 31 countries.

“Nuseir has built a direct relationship with tens of millions of people through compelling narratives that cross cultures and borders,” said Stan Polovets, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Genesis Prize Foundation. “As an Arab citizen of Israel, he understands the complexity of identity in a deeply personal way. We value his independence, courage and judgment, and his extraordinary digital media experience. I am very pleased to welcome Nuseir to the Advisory Board.”

“I am honored to join the Board of the most important prize in the Jewish world,” said Yassin. “I was born in Israel, I grew up in Israel, and I have no other country. Nas means ‘people,’ and my mission has been to bring people together. The Genesis Prize celebrates Jewish achievement and channels it into philanthropy that strengthens Jewish communities and benefits people around the world. I am excited to contribute to this remarkable work.”

The Advisory Board brings together leaders from public life, business, media, law and the arts to provide strategic guidance and advance the Foundation’s mission. The Board is chaired by Jewish leader, statesman and human rights activist Natan Sharansky, who spent nine years in Soviet prisons. After making Aliyah, he served as an Israeli government minister and later chaired the Executive of The Jewish Agency for Israel.

Yassin is the latest prominent figure to join GPF’s Advisory Board, following the appointment of renowned civil rights advocate and senior CNN political commentator Van Jones and the former CEO of the Jewish Federations of North America, Jerry Silverman.

“As a new member of the Genesis Advisory Board, I’m pleased to welcome Nuseir,” said Jones. “We share a common mission – to bring people together in a world that seeks to drive them apart. The Genesis Prize celebrates Jewish achievement and generosity far beyond any one community. Nuseir has built one of the world’s most powerful platforms for finding common ground, and I’m honored to serve alongside him.”
