Kathryn Amel, Executive Assistant to the CEO

Kathryn (Kate) Amel is an experienced operations and strategy professional with a strong background in nonprofit, philanthropic, and biotech organizations. She currently serves as Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Genesis Prize Foundation, where she supports senior leadership and oversees complex operational functions. Previously, Kate held leadership roles in corporate strategy and operations at Anchiano Therapeutics and Interleukin Genetics, managing HR, budgeting, board relations, and cross-functional initiatives.

Earlier in her career, she worked at The CAYL Institute, where she led program operations and grant management and co-authored The New Early Childhood Professional, published by Teachers College Press.

Kate holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from Boston University and is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
