Anna Perelman

Senior Prize Manager

Anna was born in Minsk and has been involved in the renaissance of the Jewish community in the Former Soviet Union since the 1980s. She was the founder of a Jewish Sunday school in Minsk, one of the first and the largest such Jewish schools in the Former Soviet Union. During 16 years of her work for the Jewish Agency for Israel she recruited and trained the educational representatives of JAFI in the former Soviet Union, developed various projects for the Russian-speaking Jewry and for the last four years headed the Jewish Agency delegation to St. Petersburg and the Northwest Russia. During her work as a Senior Manager at Genesis Philanthropy Group (Israel), and then Regional Director GPG Israel, Anna was deeply involved in all aspects of grant-making process, including development of grants, negotiations with the strategic partners, execution, review and evaluation. Anna graduated from the Belorussian State Pedagogical University as a certified teacher of mathematics and holds a Master of Science in Management Sciences from the Recanati School of Business Management, Tel Aviv University, with a specialization in Organizational Behavior and Multicultural Management.
